To be fully accountable for the Quality Assurance Engineer to assure that products meet industry standards. Quality Assurance Inspector looks for ways to make the entire manufacturing process more efficient also works on a production line and test items in a controlled laboratory setting.
Main Responsibilities:
Analyze products, using either machinery or direct sensory observation.
Determine whether products suitable for the marketplace.
Keep records of work and send defective products back for repairs.
Locate the source of any defects and to assure that future items don't have the same problems.
Inspects and approves incoming materials by confirming specifications, conducting visual and measurement tests, and rejecting and returning unacceptable materials.
Inspects in-process production by confirming specifications, conducting visual and measurement tests, communicating required adjustments to production supervisor.
Approves finished products by confirming specifications, conducting visual and measurement tests, returning products for re-work, and confirming re-work.
Documents inspection results by completing reports and logs, summarizes re-work and waste, and inputs data into quality database.
Keeps measurement equipment operating by following operating instructions and calibration requirements, and calling for repairs.
Maintains safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures, and complying with legal regulations.
Creating an efficient manufacturing process that support production lines.
Undertake any additional tasks assigned by BE management.
To be fully accountable for the quality, accuracy timeliness and effectiveness of reports, and KPI’s.
