Job Purpose:
Accountable for Warehouse Supervisor to control the flow of stock (Raw materials, finished product, under-operating product, and storage space) inward and outward of the warehouse, ensuring that adequate supplies are maintained and all deliveries are logged and checked. Support Company in delivering exceptional customer service by ensuring that goods required for each job are available and delivered to the right location.
Key Tasks/Accountabilities:
•Check supplier deliveries; unpack and check (Raw materials, finished product, under-operating product, and storage space) against documentation supplied.
•Monitor the quality of the Raw materials, finished product, under-operating product, and storage space received; inform Purchasing team of any quality problems.
•Perform risk assessment before proceeding with packing or unpacking of goods where required.
•Identify of all items and their location in the store.
•Pack up all packing material and returns and ensure they are returned to the correct organisation and where appropriate credit notes are received.
•Log all Raw materials, finished product, and storage space received on a computerised or manual system.
•Reconcile stock and ensure that adequate levels of Raw materials, finished product, and storage space are maintained.
•Monitor Raw materials, finished product, and storage space outward traffic completing the appropriate stock control forms, either a manual or computerised system.
•Maintain critical stock inventory and inform Purchasing team of stock levels and which items will need to be ordered.
•Ensure Raw materials, finished product, and storage space are collected in accordance with work schedules by liaising with concern parties .
•Work closely with relevant departments to ensure that their requirments are in the warehouse using a ‘Just in Time’ ordering system.
•Responsible for the security, Confidentiality & Integrity, of all information assets within his responsibilities in accordance with the company’s Information Security Policies
