Job Description / Responisbilties

Purpose



  • To provide overall administrative and logistic support to the Graduate Development Program (GDP). To execute and carryout any related activities that support attracting and retaining potential talent to ensure a steady supply of talent for deployment into future business roles.


Duties

 

Graduate Development Program (GDP) Operational Duties


  • Provide day-to-day operational support and customer service to enable the effective functioning and implementation of GDP practices and deliverables. These include but not limited to: manage relationships with stakeholders effectively, and thoroughly understand their needs (graduates, businesses, talent programme management, vendors & other essential supporters to the Talent programmes.



GDP Attraction


  • Maintain the ongoing marketing and brand positioning of the GDP programme to promote DAL Group as an employer of choice in the eyes of the prospective graduates. This will include partnering with Marketing to produce various marketing and communication mechanisms, inclusive but not limited to digital and written materials, marketing campaigns, radio broadcasts, presentations, digital platforms etc. Also act as the company representative at universities, career fairs and recruitment networking meetings.



 

GDP Recruitment, Assessments & Selection


  • Carryout the annual recruitment and selection process based on resourcing requirements to fill future business roles through reaching the right segment and the attraction of the right talent, at right time, cost and quality. To follow the annual operation of online GDP recruitment from applications, screening, shortlisting, assessment center co-ordination, interviews, panel presentations to selection and onboarding. A key requirement in this process is to produce reports to track statistics on cut-offs to qualify for the next round in the selection process.



 

GDP Placement & Rotation


  • Execute and follow-up all GDP program related activities and run in accordance of clearly defined policies, processes and guidelines to ensure that each apprentices is supported through structured job rotations, placements, training and development for deployment in business positions on completion of 4 year programme. As part of each rotation and placement, performance and development progress will need to be tracked and monitored to ensure apprentices are meeting the expected requirements of the GDP programme.



GDP Learning & Development (Learning Waves)


  • Execute, facilitate and ensure the ongoing partnership with concerned parties in order to implement the designed learning waves (both digital courses and non-digital). Carry out learning waves process and follow-up with learning solutions providers ensure that requirements and learning content per apprentices stream support the building of the right skills and capabilities and subsequently meet business needs and skills sets required in the future as well as tracking and monitoring of Learning Wave completion status. Conduct regular curriculum review against business needs and the DAL Groups Competency Framework raise any proposals for improvements/changes



GDP Database Management & Record Keeping


  • Ensure the effective administration of GDP data and record keeping that enables accurate and credible data points to be used for analysis, career development and decision making. This may include the integration of data on approved HRIS.



GDP Engagement & Social Networking

  • Execute GDP program interventions and social activities through coordinating events and gatherings to ensure engagement of young talent within the programme and the business



GDP Communication


  • Serve as the liaison and primary point of contact for GDP information sharing and general communication updates as required. This includes updating of  Website and social media accounts and any other communication platforms.



Governance & Compliance



  • Provide ongoing document management control in accordance with ISO standards to maintain and update latest version of all GDP policies, procedures, processes  and forms on one central digitized portal for easy access and information sharing.



Invoicing, Payments & Cost Control


  • Create and secure needed approval for all orders and purchase requisitions and other expenses for the different Talent Programmes related expenses, following up on outstanding requisitions to provide a regular cost control report and offer recommendations.



Other Accountabilities:

 




  • Ensure sound and collaborative working relations across DAL GROUP (including DALFood) as well as all DED HR functions, DG HR Operations to enable integration across the HR value chain and to promote team work and enterprise systems thinking.


Qualification:



  • Bachelor degree in HR or Business Administration or closely related field.


Experiences:



  • Minimum (1-3) year  in HR, Talent or any relevant field.

  • Minimum 1 years work experience in a corporate or large organization.

  • Minimum 1 years work experience in local market.
