Job Description / Responisbilties

Purpose:


 



  • To lead the business unit teams in selling and promoting agricultural machinery, implements, services and parts; while creating a culture that maximizes sales opportunities and increases customer satisfaction levels; in addition to effectively controlling operating costs, thereby obtaining the targeted profit contribution.


 


Duties:

 

Increasing Effectiveness


  • Perform recruiting, selecting, orienting, teaching, coaching and disciplining supervisors. This entails communicating strategies, assigning accountabilities, planning, monitoring, appraising job results, developing incentives and developing a climate for offering information.



Strategic Planning


  • Ensure the plan set meets technology and financial opportunities, presenting recommended objectives for the PU that will have a direct impact on DIAC's profitability and market share.


Accomplishing Objectives


  • Establish plans, budgets and results measurements, as well as allocating resources by reviewing progress and making mid-course corrections to ensure alignment with regulations and standards.


Financial Management


  • Ensure that all perimeters and planned objectives meet the monthly, quarterly and annually set targets are effectively managed, to assist in PU overall performance.


Cross-functional team Management


  • Coordinate efforts in establishing procurement, production slots, marketing, field and technical services, as well as coordinating actions with support services in DIAC in order to ensure fruitful collaboration to achieve maximum results.

Building PU Image


  • Collaborate with customers, government, communities, organizations and employees, enforcing ethical business practices for the effective representation of DIAC internally, regionally and internationally.




 


Service Quality Assurance


  • Enforce organization standards set by Senior Management with the expected outcome to deliver the highest level of service quality.




 


Learning and Development


  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge attending workshops, grow networks, and benchmark all practices to ensure all staff are motivated and have a clear career path.



 

Team Effort


  • Contributing to the team by accomplishing results as needed to align with DIAC's goals and objectives.



 

Leadership and Coaching


  • Maintain a learning culture with the team, supporting the updated individual learning plan. This entails conducting appraisals as per company policy as well as preparing a succession plan to be used to determine HIPO for the future.



 

Company Representation Front


  • Participate in local and international fairs, farmers days, exhibitions, seminars and farmer study groups in order to gain exposure to global best practices and develop opportunities to network and represent the Company to both new and current customers as well as other agricultural service companies.

Qualification:



  • B.Sc. Degree in any related field.

  • Master of Business Administration .


Experience:



  • Minimum 10 years work experience in Sales Field.
