- TO collect, clean, and interpret data sets in order to answer a question or solve a problem that will result in overall business improvement.
- Data Collection
Gather, track and analyze data from relevant sources (internal and external) in order to assist in identifying improvement opportunities withing SUTRAC and support decision making.
- Data Cleaning
Filter and “clean” data by reviewing computer reports, printouts, and performance indicators to locate and correct problems.
- Data Exploration
Analyze and interpret datasets while summarizing their particular characteristics in order to understand the impact of past actions.
- Process Evaluation
Use data to determine the causes of trends and correlations between variables policies and procedures and performing root cause analysis on problematic areas in order to evaluate the processes and to assist in formulating sustainable solutions.
Oversee the implementation of plans and initiatives, establish success criteria, ensure follow-up with project plan and measure observed improvements in order to ensure proper implementation and optimal business gain.
Submit regular reports to Business Analytics Manager regarding progress of activities, advice and support her in developing strategies, keep open lines of communication and report on project status indicating key milestones, setbacks and success.
- Other Duties:
Conducts similar duties as it seems fit for the proper execution of the duties, and duties assigned by the Business Analytics Manager of SUTRAC.
Bachelor degree in computer science or equivalent.
Minimum 1 year work experience in data Analytics position.
