-Facilitates production activities to meet quality/safety specifications and regulatory standards by providing training, auditing, troubleshooting and incident management.
-Investigates and analyses incidents to identify trends in product/quality safety information.
-Initiates corrective actions and communicates findings as appropriate
-Conducts regular internal audits on all HACCP and OPRP systems, documents and reports findings and follows-up on non-conformances
-Responsible for the Packaging program.
-Works with Production, and other relevant parties to segregate and return defective packaging.
- Test new packaging components on the line and troubleshoot packaging issues.
-Provides packaging item information sheets.
-Responsible for setting up new IPC inspection for all products weights and defects and continuous improvement data collection and trending including IPC parameters.
-Maintains database and makes modifications to items and personnel and archives data.
-Implements continuous improvement through utilization of system program elements such as Master Control Plans, Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures (sSOP), HACCP, PRP, OPRP.
-Acts as QA representative on multi-functional project teams, business unit or non-routine assignments.
-May support new product efforts from initial test runs to full-scale production to assure integrity of systems.
-Undertake any additional tasks assigned by BE management
-To be fully accountable for the quality, accuracy timeliness and effectiveness of reports, and KPI’s.
-Responsible for the security, Confidentiality & Integrity, of all information assets within his/her responsibilities in accordance with the company’s Information Security Policies.
