Purpose:
To deliver effective procurement solutions for projects and on-going requirements whilst managing risks to an appropriate level, in order to support DAL Mining in improving procurement processes, value received from its suppliers and engagement with the internal stakeholder.
Duties:
- Needs Sourcing
Sourcing all company needs of a wide variety of goods and services (e.g. mining & drilling equipment/tools, information & communication technology, laboratory equipment and instruments, foodstuffs, building maintenance materials, office supplies, furniture, etc.) locally and globally by applying market intelligence, to ensure continuous improvement of both the contractual relationship and departmental processes.

Monitoring supply market, and identifying potential source of supply, while assisting in rationalizing the supplier base by selecting, coordinating, appraising the performance of suppliers, and keeping up‐to‐date supplier records.
- Cost Control
Controlling and reducing the cost by consistently procuring the required supplies in the most efficient manner, at the right time, quality, quantity, price delivered to the right place, and reducing or eliminating wastage in the procedure

Qualification:
- Bachelor Degree in Business Administration Or any relevant field
Experience:
- Minimum 5 Years experience in procurement
