Job Summary

Procures materials for manufacturing and shipment of the final product. This includes identifying and ordering the proper quantity, negotiating pricing and shipment terms and overseeing the timely delivery of materials needed to fulfill customer orders.

Job Description:

vResponsible for the procurement of direct materials.

vPlan reordering point of raw materials, and maintain adequate inventory levels in a cost-effective approach.

vLead suppliers’ strategic sourcing activities as per the policies.

vResponsible for keeping fresh market dialogues and other supplier relationship management.

vInitiate communications with suppliers for new buy, modified re-buy, and straight re-buy requests.

vLiaise all transactions and processes between suppliers and internal units related to the supply chain activities.

vParticipate in the setup of the department governance activities.

vParticipate in the development of new product specifications.

vAnalysis of supply and procurement data.

vOversee comprehensive logistics activities.

vTrain other members for knowledge and experience transfer.

vCarry out continuous optimization measures for the product and the department related activities.

Assist the team in various ways for vision accomplishment whenever applicable.
