Technical Skills & Experience Required:
Agriculture background with at least 7 years’ experience in Accounting and Reporting.
Knowledge and Hands on Experience of recording, reviewing entries and reporting in ERP/Accounting system
Supervise, examine and analyze accounting records, financial statements, or other financial reports to assess accuracy, completeness, and conformance to reporting and procedural standards.
Managing the procurement process and ensuring that all stages including pre-qualification, enquiry, analysis, selection and contract preparation are performed effectively.
Registration and maintenance of company fixed assets; lead the valuation of fixed assets, adjusting for depreciation
Handle Cash flow and petty cash; ensure that all transactions are recorded clearly
Supervise and Ensure proper recording and accuracy of all transactions related to payroll (payroll generation, accounts receivable and accounts payable) ensuring compliance with payroll processes; review and validate payroll summary reports through coordination with the relevant HR members.
Ensure and support accounting staff in maintaining files and documentation thoroughly and accurately, in accordance with the filing policies and procedures
Assist internal and external auditors in ensuring that audits are completed timely by the year-end through collaborating sufficiently and providing the necessary data.
Experience of cost accounting.
Preparation of Monthly Financial Reports and Quarterly Cash flow Forecasts and any other ad hoc report as required by the Finance Manager Shared Services
Should be a fast learner and have good communication skills.
Cost accounting experience in a Manufacturing environment is preferred.
Hands on experience of working on Oracle/JD Edwards ERP is preferable.
Qualification & Languages Required:
Bachelor’s degree in accounting.
CMA or ACCA or IFRS Certificates is required
